Presenter-led gameplay
Two CasinoLove presenters spend approximately 3 to 5 minutes playing the official demo and showing the central mechanic and selected features.
Each month, two CasinoLove presenters play new releases from different game studios in official demo mode, score every title across the same seven categories, and reveal the category winners and final ranking in one pre-recorded and edited YouTube episode.
Instead of covering each release in isolation, Game of the Month places new titles in one competitive format. Viewers see real gameplay, hear two presenter reactions, follow a consistent scorecard and stay for the final ranking.
A confirmed sponsorship gives one eligible game a place in the relevant monthly episode. Each participating studio receives the same core coverage and the same chance to compete for the ranking and selected awards.
The nomination fee applies only after CasinoLove accepts the title for the episode. A game studio can nominate a maximum of one title per month.

Supply 2 to 4 sentences about the game or company, such as its inspiration or your ethos. The presenter may reword it naturally while preserving the message.
Your title is evaluated across seven equal categories, producing an overall score and a position in the final table.
Every participating title can win a relevant category award and the overall Game of the Month title. Award categories can vary between episodes.
The game title and studio are named on screen. Approved release information and a suitable link can be added to the video description.
The episode can include a dedicated YouTube chapter, making it easy for the studio, operators and viewers to find the game segment.
The process is designed to remain simple for the studio while giving the presenters enough verified information to assess each release consistently.
Send the game name, studio, official release date and the month you want to enter.
CasinoLove checks the launch date, recording access, game stability and available technical information.
The presenters review the supplied information, play the official demo and score it using the same seven equal categories.
The pre-recorded episode is edited before publication and reveals the final table, selected category winners and overall Game of the Month.
Each category is scored on the same 10-point scale. The system combines factual game details, personal presenter preferences and the experience of the actual demo session.
| Evaluation category | Points | What the presenters consider |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Gameplay and bonus features | 10 pts | Are the core mechanics clear and enjoyable? Do the base game, bonus rounds, free spins, multipliers, wilds or other features work well together? |
| 2. Originality and innovation | 10 pts | Does the release introduce a fresh idea, a meaningful twist or a distinctive combination instead of feeling like a simple reskin? |
| 3. Visuals, theme and audio | 10 pts | Do the artwork, animation, symbols, theme, music and sound effects form a polished and memorable experience? Personal taste is naturally part of this score. |
| 4. User experience and technical quality | 10 pts | Are the controls, bet settings, rules, text and game states easy to understand? Does the official demo load quickly and run smoothly on the intended screen? |
| 5. Math transparency and win potential | 10 pts | How clearly does the game explain RTP, available RTP versions, volatility, maximum win, bet range and feature rules? High RTP, selectable volatility and detailed help can strengthen this score. |
| 6. Entertainment and session experience | 10 pts | Was the demo session engaging and well paced? Luck can influence the atmosphere of a short session, even when the presenters understand that one session does not define the game. |
| 7. Replay appeal and overall impression | 10 pts | Would the presenters want to return after the first feature or session? Does the complete experience remain memorable after comparison with the lineup? |
| Total available | 70 pts | Equal category scores added together for the final monthly ranking. |
Each presenter gives every category a score from 0 to 10. Their two scores are averaged for the category, and the seven category results are added to the final total.
If two games finish with the same total, the higher Gameplay and Bonus Features score is the first tie-breaker, followed by Replay Appeal and Overall Impression.
The overall ranking identifies one Game of the Month. Additional awards recognize specific strengths, but we only select a category winner when we believe a game genuinely deserves it. The available award categories can change from month to month.
Highest overall score in the final ranking.
Strongest combination of core play and feature execution.
Freshest meaningful idea or mechanical twist.
Strongest combination of visuals, theme, animation and sound.
Clearest controls, information and technical presentation.
Strong RTP or configuration options supported by clear and detailed game information.
The demo session that created the strongest entertainment experience.
Strongest reason to return after the first session.
Clear entry rules protect the monthly comparison and help us record the correct version of every game.
The presenters use the same evaluation categories for every title while keeping their reactions natural. A game that does not win this month can return with another eligible release in a future episode.
The standard format begins with slots because they are easier to compare. An occasional alternative game can be included with an adapted scorecard focused on rule clarity, risk and fairness information, player control, round pacing, originality, mobile usability, technical performance, audiovisual design and entertainment. If direct comparison would be misleading, the game can receive an Alternative Game Spotlight instead of entering the main slot leaderboard.
A normal launch post explains that a game exists. A competitive monthly episode shows how it plays and where it stands out beside other releases.
The game becomes part of a larger 30 to 60 minute format designed around comparison, reactions, scoring and a final reveal.
Two presenters give the release personality and create natural discussion around mechanics, visuals, features and entertainment.
A strong category result can make a specific product strength easier for operators, partners and players to understand.
Studios can nominate a different eligible release in future months and build recurring visibility around their launch calendar.
After eligibility and availability are confirmed, it guarantees one game a place in the relevant monthly episode with the standard gameplay, scorecard and ranking coverage. It does not guarantee a score or award.
Yes. The studio nominates an eligible game released in the calendar month covered by the episode. CasinoLove confirms final acceptance.
No studio preview is included. The presenters' reactions, scores and ranking are part of the natural format. If a factual detail is found to be incorrect after publication, CasinoLove can add a correction in the description and a comment.
We play the official demo version supplied or hosted by the studio. The session follows what happens during demo gameplay, and no real-money betting is used.
Yes, to a reasonable extent. The presenters understand that a short session involves luck, but an exciting or uneventful demo can still influence their impression of pacing, entertainment and replay appeal.
Yes, occasionally. They use an adapted evaluation and may appear as an Alternative Game Spotlight when direct comparison with slots would not be fair.
